Selling book sleeves in person is quite a different experience than online; witnessing peoples reactions to a product they haven't heard of, receiving compliments face to face, observing which prints they gravitate towards...its such a rewarding experience. And its wonderful to see every single person happily pick a sticker after their purchase, it never matters how young or old they are!
I was thrilled to be a vendor at the 52nd Annual Der Belsnickel Craft Show in Boyertown, PA. It's a juried show with high expectations of its artisans, and people travel from far away just for this fair. Since a minimum of 85% of the products had to be handmade, the items were quite unique ranging from historically accurate brooms to intricate wreaths to spicy sauces.
I met friendly people, sold lots of sleeves, chatted about books, and had a great time!
